RICHARD PRIDEAUX – RHUG ESTATE FORAGER
For those that know me, I am usually found out and about in nature, the more remote the better. I always say that I have the best office in the world, as I get to roam around the beautiful Welsh countryside and Rhug Estate most of the year. I use the Wild Beauty moisturising lip treatment with Rhug beeswax a lot being out and about in the elements but I will also be hoping for an upgrade to my trusty Gateway1 footwear (the link is here https://koolbox.co.uk/
They are a Scandinavian outdoors brand, focusing on simplicity and longevity – and producing possibly the most comfortable pair of wellies I have ever owned. Perfect for long days hunting for wild ingredients on the wild fringes of the Estate!
AMY COLEMAN – GENERAL MANAGER
It’s been a very busy year at the Estate for all of us, so I am looking forward to a bit of R&R this Christmas and love nothing more than sinking into a hot bath whilst the Wild Beauty replenishing face mask with Rhug honey works its magic.
I have also got my eye on one of the floral initial necklaces from Alex Monroe https://www.alexmonroe.com/floral-letter-a-necklace I love that all his designs are inspired by the beautiful British countryside and are committed to making sure their work has little impact on the environment and its people – it really fits with the ethos we have here at Rhug Estate.
TRUFFLES – THE BOSS
I love the run up to the festive season. There are lots of yummy treats appearing all over the estate, but I am a very well behaved dog so only accept snacks when offered, my favourite is a Rhug sausage that I am allowed in the morning. Christmas means all the family coming to stay at Rhug so I get lots of cuddles and long sleeps by the fire … I am hoping for a squeaky Squirrel toy from Santa this year, paws crossed!
