Spring Skincare Routine With Wild Beauty
Posted by TEAM WILD BEAUTY
Spring is most definitely in the air here at Rhug and all over the estate we can see new life emerging, from the bright yellow daffodils to the shoots for the new forage, the promise of lambs and a new season of crops. It really feels like a new chapter full of potential and optimism and a time we always look forward to after winter and this year feels particularly special.
A new season is always a good time to look at our skincare routine and make adjustments to ensure our skin is looking its best and in good health. Spring is a time for new growth and new starts, so have a good look through those skincare supplies and get rid of any old pots and tubes that might have seen better days – most skincare products have a little jar icon on the packaging which indicates how long you should keep it for – anything between 6-12 months usually and after that, the ingredients and results won’t be optimal.
We will start to see the glimmer of colour in the countryside and hedgerows as the spring flowers start to make an appearance. Reflect this in your skincare routine with our Purifying Cleansing Lotion, Rebalancing Skin Tonic and our Nourishing Eye Cream which all contain dandelion, rich in minerals such a Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium & Phosphorous, that help hydrate and support the overall skin function.
Keeping skin supple and hydrated after the winter and into warmer months is key to a good skincare routine and our Protecting Day Cream with Blue Tansy not only smells incredible but contains wild Yarrow Leaf which helps promote the regeneration of skin cells revealing a fresher complexion.
Enjoy uplifting scents in this new season! We are very proud of the fact that our products smell so good with 100% natural essential oils too; the Purifying Body Wash with Bergamot & Nettle is a perfect way to capture the change in season in a bottle. Its uplifting fragrance is a blend of Organic Bergamot, Geranium and Petitgrain essential oils. It not only smells wonderful, but it is soothing, purifying and hydrating too.
Happy Spring to you all!
